India Victory Day is celebrated every year on December 16 as the day of our army had conquered Pakistan in 1971. On this day, Chief Minister of Rajasthan Shree Ashok Gehlot went at Amar Jawan Jyoti. On this occasion, Last post was sounded and kept two minutes’ silence by the south west of the troops commanded for the peace of the departed souls.
Lt General Sumer Singh, Major General Kelje.asl Thind, District Collector T. Rvikant, Rajasthan Foundation vice president Rajeev Arora, South – West Command and other senior remembered the departed souls. This day is very important because Indian army beat the Pakistan during the 1971 war.
