Teej Festival Jaipur
Teej is well known in the whole world as it only celebrated in Jaipur. In Teej, married women preys Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to live a happy married life with their spouses, as Indian women (especially Hindu) don’t want to leave their husbands alone in any condition whether it is beautiful spring time or dark nights of the luck. Besides this, Teej is also known for beautiful colored dressed, jewelry, happiness and enthusiasm regardless the social differences.
On the Teej idol of Goddess Parvati (Teej Mata or Teej Mother) is taken in the market from the city palace so general public can take view of royal goddess. There we can view a little view of almost all local traditions.
